1. Who we are
GB7 SYNQ GmbH ("GB7 SYNQ", "we", "us") operates the GB7 SYNQ website and, once available, the GB7 SYNQ product suite (Write, Grid, Slides, Flow, and Space). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
2. What we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect: first and last name, work email address, company name, job title, company size, the product you're most interested in, the tools you currently use, a free-text description of the problem you're hoping to solve, how you heard about us (optional), and technical metadata including your IP address and campaign attribution (UTM parameters), if present in the link you followed.
When you contact us directly, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (health, biometric, religious, political, or similar) through this website, and we ask that you not include such information in free-text fields.
3. How we use it
- To respond to waitlist signups and contact form submissions, including reaching out about early access.
- To understand demand for GB7 SYNQ and prioritize product development.
- To measure which channels and campaigns bring visitors to the site (via UTM parameters), so we can understand what's working.
- To detect and prevent abuse of our forms (for example, rate-limiting repeated submissions).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to train third-party advertising models.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we process waitlist and contact form data on the basis of your consent (which you provide explicitly via the waitlist form's consent checkbox) and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and operating this website.
5. How long we keep it
We retain waitlist and contact submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to them, and for a limited period afterward for record-keeping. You may request deletion at any time — see Section 7.
6. Who we share it with
We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers who help us operate this website (for example, hosting providers), bound by confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already occurred.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypting data in transit, restricting internal access based on role, and logging administrative actions. See our Security page for more detail. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies
This website uses a minimal session cookie required for basic functionality (such as remembering flash messages and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery). We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
10. International transfers
If you access this website from outside the country where our infrastructure is hosted, your data may be transferred across borders. We take steps to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as GB7 SYNQ evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist members where appropriate.
12. Contact us
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent via our contact page.
